Pretty on the Inside

This was a cover design/illustration for a book titled "Pretty on the Inside." The book's premise is the story of a young woman growing up in the 1990s who deals with her body image issues by diving into an interior world inspired by the grunge and riot grrrl music of the era. I drew the figure in Illustrator and did the painting & lettering in Photoshop.
