Pinchas Zukerman Performs Bach, BSO 2017-18

A promotion for one of Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's fall 2017 classical concerts. Pinchas Zukerman is a notable violinist and I really enjoyed the shape of the violin in this particular image — I wanted the typography of the word mark to interact with the negative space surrounding it. The color palette is inspired by the moonlit winter forest imagery in the eponymous poem that itself inspired Schoenberg's "Verklärte Nacht," the second piece in the concert.
